Term 2 Week 6 2021

Kia ora koutou,

Welcome back after a long weekend. We hope you all had an enjoyable and relaxing break. Year Four will be going to the Zoo this week on Wednesday and our rugby team is attending the HPPA (Howick Pakuranga Principals Association) Rugby Field day at Lloyd Elsmore. We wish them all the best.

Congratulations to the following children who will be receiving their Special Terrific Person Certificates and Values Bookmarks at school assembly on Friday, starting at 9.10 am.  This week our item will be the Year 6 Camp – we welcome you to attend.

Special Terrific Person Certificates

Baran Amiri, Tama Hyland, Charlie Carson, Caleb Moukarzel, Dayton Huggins, Henil Tailor, Joy-Ellen Tokai, Cordelia Prentice, Jacob Robertson, Chloe Cooke, Samarveer Parmar, John Belding, Sophia Macbeth, Mila Carr, Payton-Lee Weyers, Solomon Zhang, Chloe Zhi, Sienna Jillings, Risa Miyata, Navia Ranchhod, Amarah Hoosen, Kayde Herbert, Kayla de Lange, Roselynne Tokai, Milan Gahunia and Charlotte Pitcaithly.

All visitors, parents and caregivers must report to the office when coming onto the school grounds  between 9.00 am and 2.30 pm. It is extremely important that you notify the teacher and the office if you are picking up your child early.

For the safety of our children, we need you to come to the office to collect your child, not go straight to the classroom.  Our office staff will ring the classroom so your child can be sent to the office while you sign them out on our ipad.  If there is a time when you do need to go to the classroom you will be issued with a visitor pass.

Ngā mihi,
Vicki Parkins

The Year 5 team also had a good day winning 3 of their 5 games. All girls played well, and showed fantastic sportsmanship, representing our school with pride.
