Keeping Our Tamariki Safe –
Parking Reminders

The safety of our tamariki is our top priority. Please remember:

  • No parking or stopping on yellow lines – these areas must stay clear for visibility and safety.
  • Do not park or stop across driveways – this blocks access and creates hazards.

Let’s all do our part to keep drop-off and pick-up times safe for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation.

SCHOOL NEWS

Whānau Picnic – Thursday 19 February

A reminder that the Whānau Picnic is happening this Thursday, February 19 (Week 3). Bring your picnic blanket and dinner and join us for a fun evening with parents and children from 5:00 to 7:00pm.

The water slide will be in action, so bring your togs! We will also have a tug-o-war, the sand pit, basketball and other games happening on the school field and courts.

LJs will be there selling delicious fish n chips, as well as Scrunchy Millers, selling yummy real fruit ice cream!

It’s a wonderful chance to connect, celebrate, and enjoy time together as a school community. Parents are responsible for their own children at all times, but the class teachers are there to also join in the fun!

The Year 6 camp meeting will also be held on this evening at 6:30pm. More information to come!

Bake sale – Monday 23rd February

Our senior students are heading off to camp soon and excitement is building! To help cover the costs of the extra activities planned, we will be holding a Year 5 Tōtara and Year 6 Kauri Bake Sale on Monday 23rd February.

We ask that all Year 5 Tōtara and Year 6 Kauri students please bring in a plate of baking to sell to the rest of the school at morning tea.  All funds raised will go directly towards supporting these additional camp experiences for our students.

Year 5 Tōtara and Year 6 Kauri students, please drop off your homemade or store bought baking, under the year 4 Tītoki canopy near the carpark between 8:30am – 8:50am on the morning of the sale.

Every item is just $1, with a maximum of 3 items per student. Payment can be made in advance via KINDO or given in cash to your child’s teacher on the day.

If your child has allergies, we welcome contributions to our allergy-friendly table. Please ensure these are clearly labelled with all ingredients.

Thank you for supporting this fun and tasty fundraiser, we are looking forward to seeing the creativity (and tasting the results)!
