This evening the Prime Minister announced that Auckland will be moving to Alert Level 4 for the next seven days from 11.50 pm tonight. Botany Downs School will be closed to all students and staff.
Tomorrow our teachers will not only be preparing for online learning but also preparing for their own families to adjust to Alert Level 4. Teachers will therefore be in contact with you on Thursday. Please use the activities on our school website for learning at home tomorrow, Wednesday. Online learning from home will begin on Thursday 19 August.
The lockdown will impact each family in a unique way. Some of you will want lots of school work for your children, others may want to keep things more low-key. As we provide the best Learning from Home Programme we can, we trust you will find the right balance for your family.
