Kia ora koutou BDS whānau,                                                                Week 2, Term 2, 2022

As Term 2 continues we are quickly moving into the many activities that are happening at school.  This week we begin with Bike Safety for Years 5 and 6, we continue with lessons in our Life Education Caravan for all year levels, and our lunchtime sports and cultural activities mentioned in last weeks newsletter are well underway.

BDS certainly is a wonderful busy, learning, happy place to be.

BDS Learning and Fun

Year 1, Room 10: Room 10 learnt all about the Anzacs last term and how they fought hard to keep us safe. We made clay poppies to honour our fallen soldiers. We molded the clay into the poppy shape and then we painted them. We are very proud of our poppies and the soldiers.

Year 6, Room 19: ‘Leaf’ it to us to create amazing Autumn sense poems, accompanied by zentangle artwork.
